The Freedom to Fish

Please allow me to introduce myself, I am Shannan Tilson and along with several different organizations in and around the Augusta area we are presenting our annual Take Our Troops Fishing event. From previous years we anticipate around 200 participants at our events. Service Members are awarded for areas such as biggest fish (no matter what kind), largest weight of fish (no matter what kind), and lady Service Member with the largest fish.

I would like to solicit support from your business for this event. We are gathering donations for this event either product or monetary. During this event each Service Member will be able to fill a bag with donations that we have been collected. Some of these prizes will be given away as the prizes for the winners. I realize this is a lot to ask and very short notice but this event is dependent on donations. From businesses like yours in the past we have received rods, reels, cozies, cameras, and baits for example. Our biggest problem there is a limited budget for these events. At the same time we are trying to generate excitement in the Augusta and surrounding counties to come out and support this event.

From our past events experience, your donations are greatly appreciated by the Service Members. Any donation your company can contribute to this event will be recognized not only by the Service Members, but also by all participants in the community. We look forward to hearing back from you soon and being part of this opportunity to say Thank You to the Service Members who fight for us every day. One day for them is a memory forever. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thank you for your time
