Fort Gordon is best reached via Interstate 20. Take Exit 194 to Belair Road and Dyess Parkway. Follow the Dyess Parkway signs, and also the Fort Gordon signs. Dyess Parkway will bring you directly into the post through McKenna Gate, also known as Gate 1. Follow the road, which is Chamberlain Avenue, past the guard house to Kilbourne Avenue and turn left. At Brainard Avenue, turn left and follow the road around to the The Courtyard.

If traveling to Fort Gordon from Bush Field Airport, follow the airport exit around to Tobacco Road. It's the road that joins the airport "circle" right in front of the big flag. Take Tobacco Road all the way to Fort Gordon. You will enter through Gate 5 onto Avenue of the States. Turn right at 36th Street.

NOTE: Extensive reconstruction work is being done on Interstate 20 between the Georgia state line and Dyess Parkway. Expect long delays at some times.

Fort Gordon is approximately 142 miles east of Atlanta, 80 miles southwest of Columbia, South Carolina and 122 miles northwest of Savannah, Georgia.


DIRECTIONS TO WILDWOOD PARK

Located on Clarks Hill Lake. From I-20 exit 183 onto GA 47/US 221. Go approximately 3 miles into Appling, Hwy 221 will bear to right, follow to intersection at Pollard's Corner, Approximately 5 miles. Turn left onto Washington Rd. (SR 47), go approximately 3 miles. Park entrance will be on right at Dogwood Lane.
