FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question: Do I have to have a bass boat to Take A Troop Fishing?
Answer: No, this is not a bass only event.  Prizes will given away for other species of fish.

Question: Should I bring fishing equipment for the Troops to use?
Answer: Yes, most of the Troops are only stationed at Fort Gordon and many do not have fishing equipment.

Question: Can “live” bait be used?
Answer: Yes, this purpose of this day is to have fun and catch lots of fish.

Question: Will I have more than 1 Trooper fishing with me?
Answer: Possibly, it will depend on the number of Troops that would like to go fishing and how many volunteer boaters there are.  All measures will be taken to have 1 Trooper per boat.

Question: Which species of fish will the Troopers be awarded prizes for?
Answer: We will announce the species and prizes during registration and the morning of the event.
